Using a variety of puppets, Darci has shown off her beautiful singing voice and even rapping abilities while performing ventriloquism at the same time. Growing up, Darci always had a passion for singing, but was too shy to perform in front of an audience. After discovering the art of ventriloquy, Darci picked up the hobby and began perfecting her skills. Creating the illusion that her voice is coming from elsewhere, such as her puppets, Darci has mastered the craft of throwing her voice through the technique of ventriloquism. On top of being able to show off her beautiful range as a vocalist, Darci has also tackled a variety of different voices and accents with her puppets characters.
Shortly thereafter, she met the kindest coach, Gary Owen, who became her coach and manager. Later in the year, Lynn performed at the Ventriloquists Center in Vent Haven International, where she became the first female ventriloquist to perform in an evening show. Despite her vote in the top three in the playoffs, she ultimately failed to earn enough votes to continue into the next round. However, Lynne returned as a wild card action en route to the final, finishing in second place behind magician Shen Lim.
Her efforts did not go unnoticed. She had only received her first puppet two years earlier, for her 10th birthday.
She ended up competing in a local talent show and impressed everyone there so much that her parents decided to start having her work with a coach that could help her develop her talent as a ventriloquist. She also worked with a vocal coach. In less than two years time, she was ready to compete in her first televised competition and then went on to compete in the big leagues, so to speak. Originally, that tour was supposed to run from 2017 through 2019, but she continues to sell out shows in near record time. As a result, she keeps adding dates in order to meet public demand.
