Shaded visual style. Textures visual style.
I find it very helpful to be able to create high quality images of my model without having to spend too much time or resources. This is a simple but handy feature that can save you time and clicks when creating sheets. Drag and drop the selection to a sheet. Sheets are automatically arranged in a grid layout based on their size.
This feature is very useful when working with other teams or consultants using different versions of Revit. This feature eliminates the need to use third-party tools or workarounds to link models from different versions, reducing the risk of data loss or corruption when upgrading models to newer versions. No more extra right clicks, which means fewer steps. Previously, Revit could only create one EAM that included everything in the model with limited filtering options.
Now, you can create multiple EAMs based on different 3D views that include only the elements visible in those views. Note: Linked models are not part of the view.

Если вид размещён на листе, то можно нажать по нему правой кнопкой мыши в диспетчере и выбрать команду «Открыть лист» — Ревит откроет лист с этим видом. Альбомы цветов Раньше в Ревите были только палитры Пантон, а теперь их расширили и — самое приятное — добавили отдельную палитру, ну или альбом, для цветов по RAL. Менять цвета и особенно создавать материалы будет проще. Не очень удобно сделали, я бы предпочёл, чтобы цвет не сразу применялся, а сначала выделялся в списке. Сортировка параметров проекта Раньше параметры проекта сортировались по времени их добавления в проект.
По факту это сортировка не по времени, а по ID параметров. Чем позже добавляете параметр, тем больший номер в ID он получит, вот и получается сортировка по времени. Теперь в свойствах типа и экземпляра эти параметры сортируются по имени в алфавитном порядке.
14 Spectacular Revit Software 2024 Features You Can’t-Miss
The Bending Detail is driven by standard Revit Type properties and, as such, you can have multiple types that you can use in different situations. The Bending Details also make use of Revit dimension styles so you will need to setup a couple of dimension styles to support the Bending Detail tools. You can also configure the amount of detail that is displayed within the bending detail. For example, you could simply show the segment length dimensions or recover all the dimensions and angles for each segment as well as hooks and linear dimensions. There are also a few options around the unfolding or offsetting of Bending Details. When you have shapes such as links that overlap it could be confusing when showing lengths and angles of the hooks. These 3 configurations are shown in the image below using a standard link. Currently, the Bending Details cannot be tagged but I am sure that Autodesk will add this functionality in future releases. The bending details could also become a solution for certain detailing conventions such as tick and tag in sectional views and the display of bars in plan.
Bending Details in Schedules The Bending Details can also be used in schedules which is especially useful for non-standard shape codes. It is worth noting that you will only see the shape once the schedule is placed onto a sheet. Again, in many other regions and countries, shape codes are always shown in the schedule regardless. In the example below, Bending Details are shown in the bending schedule with the new auto size option for rows with images. In the above image, the segment names are displayed to reduce the amount of space required but you can also configure the Bending Details specifically for use within schedules. Here in the UK, it would only be necessary to show the bending sketch for non-standard shapes so it would be useful to see a feature where you could control which shape codes use the new Bending Detail and display on the schedule. Again, this is the first iteration, and I am sure we will see other additions to this new feature in future releases. We will now look at a feature that was released in Revit 2023.
Whilst this is an amazingly simple tool it really makes a difference when working with rebar. In the example below we have a rebar set which is configured for the spacing and number of bars. If I add additional bars, they may end up on the wrong end of the rebar set. Another new tool in Revit 2024 allows us to control the alignment of freeform rebar when placing along a path. In previous releases, the rebar would stay aligned to the path, but we can now align the rebar vertically if required. An example of this is shown below with the curved wall with a tapering base.

Revit Home Tech Preview and Dark Theme for Schedules The new Revit Home, currently in Tech Preview, introduces better navigation within Revit, while the dark theme for schedules and improved color conversion contribute to a user experience that is more consistent, comfortable, and conducive to extended work sessions. This early-stage design tool supports critical decisions regarding solar panel placement and window orientation.

However, until now, the location of the local files was not editable. If you have a laptop, for example, with a smaller SSD primary drive e.

Solar enhancements When running a solar study, the sun settings are now presented on the ribbon, as shown below. Clicking the Sun Settings button opens the traditional Sun Settings dialog with the same settings. New visual style — Textures Revit has a new view style called Textures, which is a cross between shaded and realistic similar to the view style in SketchUp. It shows the appearance asset texture but without global lighting, so the materials are a consistent color on all surfaces and at all angles. It is possible to have ambient and sun shadows on in this mode, as shown in the example below ambient shadows are on.
Previously, the only way to see the texture was to turn on Realistic, which is way too slow, and that is what we have Enscape for! The site tools represent the most significant change for architects!

You can cut a toposolid with other toposolids or with elements in other categories, including walls, floors, structural foundations, etc.
In previous versions of Revit, you probably used railings to create curbs. In this version you can use Floor Slab Edge, but take into account that it can only be placed on the edge of the toposolid, the edge of subdivision is not supported. Modernized and improved user interface Dark theme.

Specific MEP and Structure improvements are mentioned, but the complete notes are available on Autodesk blog post. Toposurface have been killed and replaced by Toposolid. The Subregion tool has been replaced by Sub-Divide. The way you create site elements is completely different. The following pages are going to cover these significant changes. What if floors and toposurfaces had a baby together? The new toposolid tool works in a very similar way to floors.
First, you need to sketch an extrusion boundary with purple lines. Then, you can modify the Sub Elements in a similar way to Roofs and Floors. Add points at specific heights to create the slopes. The points contextual menu is a bit different from the standard floors and roofs you are used to. This new menu has actually been available since Revit 2023. Ну ок. Ведь у нас полей для сортировки по-прежнему 4 штуки... Порядок прорисовки 2Д элементов Не проверял, но разработчики обещают, что теперь аннотации и элементы узлов в семействах будут работать стабильнее при отображении в проекте, редакторе семейств и на печати. То есть будет проще работать с УГО — условными графическими обозначениями. Раньше была проблема, что некоторые аннотации в проекте и при печати отображались некорректно: закрывали объекты или наоборот, перекрывались. Теперь должно быть стабильнее, как в редакторе — так и в проекте и на печати. Редко сталкивался с этим, но попробовал быстро накидать, вроде работает, но не совсем корректно. Открыл первое попавшееся семейство — точки подключения умывальника.
Добавил вложенное семейство в категории «Элементы узлов», нарисовал символическую линию и область штриховки. Расположил в определённом порядке: Добавил 2Д-элементы в семейство, все они перекрывают основную геометрию, но между собой идут в определённом порядке Добавил 2Д-элементы в семейство, все они перекрывают основную геометрию, но между собой идут в определённом порядке На плане этажа можно добиться точно такого же отображения, но при соблюдении ряда условий. Если дисциплина инженерная, Сантехника, Механизмы или Электросети, то в параметре «Показать невидимые линии» должно стоять «Нет», иначе всё просвечивает. Вот только есть незадача: при таком выборе не будет видно оси труб, а нам они нужны. Если на дисциплине «Координация» выбрать «Нет» или «По категории», то результат одинаковый: оси не видно, но и не просвечивает, всё как на первом скриншоте ниже. Если при «Координации» выбрать «Все», то оси видно, само УГО отрисовывается в нужном порядке, но при этом ещё в стиле невидимых линий отображается основная геометрия семейства. Оформить план красиво по-прежнему нельзя.
Всё-таки Ревит 2019 — великолепен. Именно в этой версии я создаю свои платные семейства, с которыми можете ознакомиться в моём магазине.
