Главной особенностью этой части является наличие изрядного количеств аркад навесов, которые проходят над боковыми сторонами улиц. Игру посетило 14000 зрителей. Зато максимальное количество зрителей было собрано на хоккейном матче. При этом Швейцария хоккейной страной никогда не была. Хоккейный поединок между «Берном» и «Лангау» собрал 30076 зрителей, было это в недалеком 2007 году. Одному из ребят после просмотра данного матча в голову пришла идея создать свою собственную команду и дать ей название «Янг Бойз», как антипод «Олд Бойз». ФК «Берн» в свою очередь помогал молодому клубу делать свои первые шаги. Сначала молодой клуб хотел согласиться на эту авантюру, но в итоге парни из «Янг Бойз» решили выступать самостоятельно, чтобы стать полностью независимым коллективом. После этого на многие годы вперед образовалось соперничество между клубами.
В 1951 году клуб возглавил неопытный немец Альберт Синг. Первый год он и вовсе был играющим тренером, а потом уже приступил к полноценной работе. Однако именно времена его правления называют «золотой эпохой» в истории клуба. С ним команда выиграла кубок Швейцарии, 4 раза подряд становилась лучшей в чемпионате.
Однажды клуб дошел до полуфинала Кубка Чемпионов, но обидно проиграл французскому «Реймсу». После ухода Синга с поста тренера клуб резко стало лихорадить. И первый титул за 15 лет команда завоевала только в 1977 году, взяв Кубок Швейцарии. В 90-х годах у «пчел» наступила черная полоса, команда чуть было не обанкротилась.
Однако одна известная инвестиционная компания «Люцерн» в 1999 году сумела спасти клуб от исчезновения. И благодаря этому в 2001 году «Янг Бойз» сумел вернуться в главную лигу страны. Но составить достойную конкуренцию «Базелю» до сих пор не удалось. Сейчас команда продолжает соперничать с «Базелем» за чемпионство.
Зато стабильное место в Еврокубках у клуба всегда есть. Причем до недавнего времени опытных игроков для серьезной борьбы команде не хватает. Но руководство клуба сумело подобрать состав из талантливых молодых ребят, которые наконец-то после долгого перерыва принесли клубу чемпионство. Российский след Сейду Думбия является самым ярким игроком, который имеет опыт выступления в России и «Янг Бойз».
В своё время именно швейцарская земля дала европейскому футболу такого хорошего нападающего.
