Второй Бакинский марафон прошёл 30 апреля 2017 года. Стартовый выстрел произвела олимпийская чемпионка, чемпионка мира по стендовой стрельбе Земфира Мефтахетдинова. Третий марафонский забег прошел 13 мая 2018 года [6] [7] , четвёртый — 5 мая 2019 года [8]. Шестой марафон был проведён 7 мая 2023 года.
